We ate soup and bread sticks at the church bowery before the big trunk-or-treat started. The kids aren't major soup fans and they were too excited for the Halloween festivities to eat their bread sticks so they pretty much had candy, candy and more candy for dinner that night. It's fun to live a little sometimes! :)
Woody, however, did get a bread stick {or two} down him before the trick-or-treating began. Thank goodness too, he's much happier with a full belly!
This year we had a Doctor, Bumblebee, Woody and a Cow with us at the trunk-or-treat. They sure looked cute in their costumes!

Of course when you get home you have to dump all your candy out to see what you got, right? I remember doing this as a kid too.
