I got to go help with Quinney's Halloween party at school. What fun! Hayzen and Levi got to come too. What a treat!
First, the kids played a fun game of Halloween Bingo. Then, they had four stations with different activities at each one. The first one was "Donut on a String". They had to eat a donut off of a string hanging from the door frame. Quinn shared his donut with his little brother -- what a sweet boy!
Next activity was to create a spider web with a black paper plate, a string of white yarn and a plastic spider ring for the web. Cute!
This was the jack-o-lantern drawing dice game. Fun!
And finally, they got to make themselves a fancy spider hat.
Quinn's turned out so cute!
Mrs. Kearsley whipped us up some "witches brew".
She's adding a little blood for perfect flavor :)
After a few magic words and a scary spell, the witches brew was done.
Quinn was brave enough to step up and take a little taste. You never know, it might turn you into a Toad!
Phew!! No Toads in this classroom!
Then the kids got to watch a little Halloween show before packing up to go home. Hayzen couldn't take his eyes off of it! :)
My little Halloween Spidey, all ready to go home with me. :)
I didn't get to help with Avery's party this year because hers and Quinn's were at the same time. But, she had a great time at her class party where they did lots of fun activities and ate some yummy treats. She also came home with a slue of treasures too. Halloween is SO fun when you're a kid!
| Love the Bat whistle! |
| She got a fancy spider painted on her cheek! |
Later that afternoon, we got dressed up in our costumes and went trick-or-treating at Daddy's work. I didn't take any pics but I swear the kids got more candy from Daddy's work than they did at the trunk-or-treat! Sheesh! What are we going to do with all this candy???
We had a great Halloween day! Round two of treat-or-treating was a major, MAJOR success!
