~ Family ~

Our friend Laci did an amazing job on our pictures!
I am SO SO SO HAPPY with them! :)

Quinney nailed the serious face..... :)

So did Hayzen..... ha ha!

I love these pictures of me with my beautiful children!
I really wanted something that showcased my divine role as a Mother and the love I have for my three sweet children. I had been thinking about this pose for quite awhile, they turned out exactly how I had envisioned!!!
{Except the fact that after losing 35 flippin' pounds, I thought I'd look a little skinnier! ha ha! Just a minor detail, right?}
Love them!!!

I just laugh at Hayzen's face in this one! :)

Thank You, Thank You, and Thank You again Laci!!!

"What? It's broken?"

It makes me SO sad to think that my baby has a broken arm, but yes, it's true. Poor little thing! He was standing on the dining room chair coloring at the table with Quinn and before I knew it,
Ker-plunk!

It's hard to see it clearly in this copied, then scanned x-ray, but, if you look really really close you can see that the break goes all the way through his little bone. :( But the good news is, the Orthopedic Surgeon said it actually stayed lined up pretty well so surgery and a cast will not be needed. What a relief, I am
SO THANKFUL!!!

So now my cutie pie guy will just be sportin' this fancy Charlie Brown sling for the next 3 weeks until his re-check appointment to make sure everything healed correctly.
Which he sports rather well, might I add! :)

In line at the pharmacy to get his antibiotics. As if things could have possibly been any worse for my poor little guy, he has another awful ear infection to add to it. :(

What a little trooper!

Fire Station Fun

A few weeks ago, we went on a field trip to the Fire Station with Quinney's preschool. I forgot my camera so Amy took these cute pictures!

We got to see where the firemen eat, sleep and lounge, and, the kids got to climb up inside the huge firetruck and ambulance and take a peek around. One of the firemen also showed the kids all the gear they have to wear to fight fires. Quite an exciting day!

Quinn and Miley are standing next to the cute fire station mascot. He rides around on his firetruck and talks to the kids and teaches them about fire safety and such. At first Quinn was a little nervous about him but by the end he warmed up. :)

Mr. Pumpkin Head

On Halloween we went to Grandma and Grandpa Smith's house for a delicious Halloween dinner. The Mummy hot dogs Grandma made for the Grandkids were SO cute! :)

After dinner all the kids took their turn beating on
Mr. Pumpkin Head, the pinata!

Mmmmm! More "TANDY!"
{as Braden and Austin call it!} :)

With that, our Halloween festivities come to an end. :(
We had so much fun celebrating Halloween this year and now look forward to the upcoming holidays! Wahoo!
