Cause we're techy like that.

Quinn said the funniest thing yesterday during our scripture reading.  I had the scriptures pulled up on my ipad and he wanted to share with me because the ipad is "cool".

While Avery was taking her turn reading, Quinn looked up at me and whispered, 

"Did Joseph Smith really write these scriptures onto the ipad?  He does good writing."

 We all had a good chuckle at that one.

Technology still baffles me sometimes too, my sweet Son.  :)

Hurry up summer!

First bike ride of the year!  It was freezing outside so we just went around the neighborhood a few times.

Uhhh....  excuse me little boy??

Levi doesn't quite grasp the idea that he has to stay sitting up and not try laying back :)

He still loved it though, what can be bad about a built-in chew toy.  And by toy, I mean strap.

Can't wait to do this all summer long!

Levi's BiRthDaY PaRty!

 

The lighting wasn't that great but this is the only spot I could set up the party table :/  

 I thought everything turned out super cute though, I was happy with it!

These were the dessert spoons. . .  LOVE!

I didn't get a good pic of it by itself, but behind the spoons is Levi's very own birthday cake with ONE balloon on top :)

 

We ate hamburgers and hot dogs, salad, fruit, baked beans, chips, jello salad and olives :)

It was GOOOOD!

And of course we had to have striped party straws with our drinks!

We were so happy that Uncle Mike and Josh were in town to celebrate little Levi's 1st birthday with us!  Levi loves his Uncle Mikey!!

 

Time for presents!!  He loved the bows and the ribbons the best :)

Happy Birthday dear Levi, happy birthday to you!

He was so funny with his cake.  I was hoping he'd eat it better than he ate his cupcake on his birthday but that didn't happen.  He looks disgusted with it again.  ha ha!

After a few pokes at the frosting, he decided he'd rather suck his binky than eat his cake :)

We took the bink from him but it was just a lot more of this. . . 

And then he wiped frosting all over his face. . .  hahaha!

Then he noticed the balloon!!

But he never did care for his cake.  

Cute little stinker anyway.

The rest of us sure enjoyed the cake though!!

It's crazy to think that our little family has celebrated it's last "first birthday".  We're moving into a new stage of life.  I feel so blessed to have celebrated 4 sweet  first birthday's and am excited to see what life will bring.  I love my little family dearly, with all my heart!

As you can see, he wasn't too fond of the cupcake.  He was more disgusted than anything, just look at his expression in the cupcakes pics!  :)
