The day has come.

There she is, my little kindergartner! I can't believe the big day is already here. Much to my surprise, I held it together pretty well, I didn't even shed a tear. :)

Avery has been so excited to start and could hardly wait to get up and get dressed this morning. We set her clothes out last night before bed and she said, "I'll put them on straight in the morning." :)

My sweet kids are growing up too fast!!!

Boating

Our good friends the Johnson's, invited us to go boating with them on their super sweet boat last weekend. Just so you know, not being on a boat in years + having my two small children and newborn baby on the boat + all the other boats in the water that might crash into us = major major and I mean MAJOR anxiety for Holly! But after I got over my near anxiety attack at the beginning, the rest of the evening was quite pleasant just hanging out on the boat. :)

The kidlets.

The babe.

The stud.

The tube.

The swimmers.

The watch guards. "Emergency, emergency, emergency...."

Thanks for inviting us Brett and Sarah, we had a great time! And who knows, maybe one of these years I might actually get brave enough to do something other than sit on the boat and be the flag holder! :)

The Zoo

We did one last day trip last week with Kristen and Madelyne to the zoo before our little ladies start school.

Among all the regular animals we also got to see the baby giraffe, the three new baby tiger cubs and the little baby snow leopard. They were all so cute!

Here we are watching the elephant eat some lunch. We didn't get to see the new baby elephant though, :( it's still inside with it's mama.

Can anyone guess what this is???

It's an orangutan of course! :) Orangutan's just might be my new favorite animal, they were being so funny and cute with those white blankets! ...so cute in fact that it gave me the urge to want to take one home and have it for a pet!

And lastly, the carousel. What a hit!

We love the zoo!! :)

I'm so sad!

The reason?????

We went to Bear Lake for 5 days and I forgot my dippy camera!
So upsetting for a picture taker like myself! :)
And even more upsetting since it was my baby's first trip to the Lake and I have nothing to show for it!!!
(okay, now I'm just being dramatic!)
We had lots and lots of fun though
inspite of my silly mistake.
We...
played at the beach
swam in the pool
went golfing (the boys did, Quinney's 1st time)
played at the park
ate lots of yummy snacks and treats :)
played baseball on the grass
rode bikes
went on walks
ate way too much of all the scrumptious meals we had
did fun crafts @ the craft center
popped popcorn
watched movies
slept in :)
got yummy shakes...twice
celebrated 2 birthdays
ate delicious mexican food at the condo and at a restaurant
(I know, we're lucky)
played school, Grandma was the teacher
made paper snowflakes
colored and drew pictures
whew, we had a good time!

Leaving the newborn stage :(

Hayzen had his 2 month check-up earlier this week and here are his stats.

Height: 22.5 inches, 31%
Weight: 11 lbs. 3 oz., 35%
Head: 40 cm., 46%

I was thinking he'd weigh a little more than that, look at those cute chubby cheeks and double chin! :)

So far, Quinn's got my other two kids beat with weight at 2 months, he weighed a whopping 12 lbs. 6.5 oz, 80%. He was a chubbster. Avery was the smallest weighing in at 10 lbs. 13 oz.

One more side note, yesterday Hayzen graduated from newborn diapers and is now officially wearing size 1. So sad, my baby is growing too fast!

hOoT hOoT

I saw this cutie-patooty owl toy idea on one of my favorite crafty blogs called nannygoat and I just knew I was going to have to make one for Hayzen. Well, I liked it so much I decided to make one for Avery and Quinn too, they were just TOO cute I couldn't help myself! :) The one pictured above is Quinn's.

Meet my three little friends...

For my three little sweeties...

She's in love!

Quinney was being so nice and wanted to let his owl sit in the tree! :) What a sweet boy!

Look, Hayzen's already grabbing it, I knew he'd like it! Sweet success!

These were so easy to make and they turned out simply adorable if I do say so myself! :)
