Snow Canyon

Snow Canyon is always a favorite place of ours to visit when we go to St. George. It has sand dunes, rocks to climb, trails to follow and picnic areas to eat lunch. It's a perfect little spot to spend the day! We love it!

This trip we didn't get to spend too much time at the sand dunes because it was a little windy that day and the sand was blowing in our eyes. OUCH! We still had fun though.

One of the trails is called "Pioneer Names" and it leads you to a place where pioneers wrote their names on the red rocks with wheel grease from their wagons. They date all the way back to 1881. Pretty amazing!

This one says, Lemuel Hide June 10, 1877

These were really high in the steep rocks so this is as close as I got. This is the section where it dates back to 1881. So cool!

For dinner that night we grilled cheeseburgers and ate on the patio, watched a movie and then had a good nights sleep! :)
