| Soda Springs Geyser |
We had a grand ole time staying in Mom and Dad's friends cabin up in Star Valley over Labor Day weekend. The cabin was perfect and every single one of us had a bed! The younger kids opted to sleep together on the floor up in the loft, but they could have had a bed. :)
On our way there, we made a pit stop in Soda Springs to feed little Levi. Perfect time to go see the Soda Springs geyser.
Until now, I didn't even know Soda Springs had a geyser! :)
Once we got to the cabin and got settled, the kids wanted to go swimming. They had a great time in the pool. . .
It wasn't the warmest pool they've ever been in. Grandpa is trying to keep a shivering Quinney warm.
The leaves were already changing up by the cabin. . .
A few days after we got home Avery said to me, "I want to climb that tree in Wyoming." The kids loved this tree!
This is the stream at the beginning of the hike, the canyon was absolutely beautiful! I love being in the mountains!

| One stick wasn't enough for Quinn, he had to have TWO fancy walking sticks! |
Daddy, Hayzen and Avery starting up the steep trail to the top of the Spring. . .
Quinn at the bottom. . .
We loved the fuzzy, bright green moss growing all over the rocks. Buggy and Hebe climbed onto that log over the falls. . .
Wahoo! We made it to the top!
The water flows right out of the mountain. So cool!
Justin just had to re-fill our water bottles with the fresh spring water. "Why not? It's the purest water you can get!" We didn't die after drinking it so I guess it was pretty pure.
After the water completely stopped flowing we got some pictures at the top. It turns on and off naturally about every 15-18 minutes.

Grandpa with all his grand kids and one great-grand kid :)
{minus the two babe's back at the cabin with Grandma} |

| Dad with all his daughters :) |
Before the water started up again we snagged a picture with the cute green, moss covered rocks. Hayzen wouldn't let Daddy set him down for one second, let alone climb over slick rocks to get a picture. Just Avery and Quinn this time. :)
Olp, here comes the water. . .
After the small pool at the top filled up it started flowing over the rocks, down the falls. . .
There it goes. . . So cool!!
Poor Hayzen was terrified the entire time at the top, I think he's just a tad bit afraid of heights! ha ha! He was happy as a lark when it was time to head down the falls back to lower ground.
Aww, we made it. We're safe, Hayzen!
One more pic at the bottom. Such a beautiful place!
Oh how I love these pictures of Hayzen! He was all excited to ride this little horsey until Justin put the quarter in and it started. I guess he wasn't ready for the quick start. ha ha! He lost it and cried the whole 1 minute ride.
Instead of being nice parents and getting him off, we pulled out the camera and laughed our heads off!
Silly boy!
While we were in Jackson, we got the ole time photos with the whole family. It was fun and I'm really glad we did it, but it took FOREVER! I thought my arm was going to fall off from holding Levi after the lady FINALLY got us all situated and was done taking our big family pic. Sheesh! And, to make things worse, I was sweating to DEATH! TOO DEATH!! I was wearing a 4-inch thick, 100% wool Indian costume over top my clothes for YEARS it seemed. Not too mention, holding a child with a full blown swede leather outfit on the whole time as well.
OH, Good times!
This is what you get when a Cowboy meets an Indian Maiden. . .
Two little Indians and two little cowboys! :)
Awesome family pic, would you say? I LOVE IT!!! Looking at this in the future will bring back a lot of fun memories!!! Isn't that right, Beana the Floozy and Stye the Indian Chief??? ha ha!
Oh and of course I had to take a picture of our cute fruit pizza bar. Wouldn't be a classic family get-together without documenting the yummy food we ate!
A perfect fruit pizza, just for me! :)
We had such a great time up in ole Star Valley! It went by way too fast though, wish we could have stayed a few more days. LOVE spending time with our fun family!
