Quinn the Preschool Graduate

Quinn's preschool graduation program was SO stinkin' cute!!  Teacher Vicki really made it fun for the kids and had them doing all sorts of fun and cute things.

First they sang 4 songs, then Quinn's class {morning class} each recited their nursery rhythm that they had memorized, then, they sang 4 more songs and the afternoon class recited their nursery rhythm's.  Teacher Vicki had hand actions, props and dancing to go with each song.  I was so happily surprised at how my shy little Quinney guy got into the songs and man oh man, my kid has got some moves!!  It was so cute to watch!  He was on the front row with his three little friends from our neighborhood also in his class.

Boston, Haylee, Mylee and Quinniferd

I know some of these pictures are blurry but when your kid has killer moves/dancing skillz like mine, the pictures are bound to come out a little blurry!  ha ha!

We Willie Winky went through the town,
Upstairs and downstairs in his nightgown.
Wrapping at the window, crying through the lock,
Are the children all in bed, now it's 8 o'clock.

Quinn recited his nursery rhythm like a champ. I love how he called him "Willie Linky".  No matter how many times we practiced Willie Winky with a "W", it always came out "Linky".  I love it!

Excuse Quinn for a moment, he has more singing and dancing to do!!

This one with the star sun glasses was SO FUNNY!  My favorite!!

Raise the roof Son, raise the roof!

Oh he was KILLIN' me!  ha ha!  What a STUD!

At the end of the program, each child came down one by one to graduate.

Teacher Vicki's husband read a little snip-it about each of the kids while they stood on the grad stool.

"Quinn's favorite things to do at school are playing dinosaurs, singing time, and being on the Lego team.  He likes going to get ice cream with his mom.  Quinn likes playing on his dad's phone and going to Scouts with him.  He loves going to the movies and playing 'Tag' with his whole family.  Quinn's favorite foods are cheese pizza, fruit loops, and cookies & cream candy bars.  When Quinn grows up he wants to be a 'Dad!'"
A Dad.  Awww!  Isn't that so sweet?!

Way to go my Preschool Graduate!!

I love that little shy smile of his. . .

Quinn had so much fun in preschool this year.  It's hard to believe that he'll be in kindergarten here in a few short months.  Man, my little boy is growing up.

Spring Soccer for Quinn

We had a super busy day Saturday.  Quinn's last soccer game @ 9:00, Quinn's preschool graduation @ 12:00 and Avery's last soccer game @ 1:00 with a pizza party afterwards.  Whew!  What a day!

Quinn has absolutely loved playing soccer.  We signed him up for the Fall/Spring season and he couldn't wait to get started again this Spring.  He's improved a lot since he started in the Fall too.  He runs his little heart out and is so fun and cute to watch!

Going for the goal!  Quinney scored 2 goals in his last game.  Wahoo!

High-fives from the coach after Quinn's awesome goal.

A well deserved medal for my little Quinner Quinner!
We are so proud of you!!

Levi loves. . .

There are two things that my Levi loves...
his brother and the changing table
Put those two things together and what have you got?

One happy, smiley, cutsie pie!
His arms and legs were just a flailin' with joy!  :)

I love his chubby lil' cheeks and double chin.  They're a dream to mug and kiss all day too!

Squeaky Clean

6 weeks old
My little Levi loves his baths!
He is always happy as a clam to sit and relax in his tub!

Smiles

Hayzen can always get a smile from this little guy.  It is SO cute!

My handsome fella, 6 weeks old.

Dinosaur Park Excursion

Since Monday was going to be a beautiful day, I decided to take the kids to the Dinosaur Park again before our membership expires.  I let Avery stay home from school, shhh, don't tell, so she could join the fun.  We had a great time!  Levi was with us too, sleeping soundly in the stroller.  :)

Avery and Quinn brought their own money and bought themselves a special treasure from the gift shop.  Hayzen picked out something for me to buy him.  :)

I'm hoping to squeeze one more trip to the Dinosaur Park in before it expires.  Hopefully Daddy will be able to join us next time since he's never been.

Mother's Day

All four of my cuties in their {coordinating} Easter best just for Mama!
I had a great Mother's day!  But then again, how could I not?  With a husband like mine and four sweet, loving kids, it's bound to happen.  :)

I got some pretty fancy gifts too.  First, a hanging flower basket from my one and only, then, a cute tile with my lil' Quinn's hand print on it that he made at preschool just for me, and lastly, some homemade paper roses from my girl that she whipped up at school.  She said she'd teach me how to make them too.  :)  Not to mention the cute gifts and sweet notes Avery, Quinn and Hayzen made me in primary.  I am one lucky Mama, and that's just what I love to be, a Mama!

Mother's Day 2012
After church we went to Mom and Dad's for a Mother's Day BBQ.
A perfect ending to a perfect day!

Strut like you mean it.

My girl's dance recital was last Saturday.  She was so excited to have us come and watch her perform!  She absolutely loves dance and is really good at it too, the best little dancer in her class!
Way to go Sweetheart, you did great!

A few of her adoring fans. . .

Grandma and Julie were even able to come.  Hooray!

She is pretty proud of her trophy.  She should be, it was well deserved!

Pretty Girl

You danced your little heart out on that stage my sweet Avery, and Mama loved watching every second of it.  Thanks for being such a sweet and happy girl and for always trying your best!
Love you!
{p.s. Strut is the name of the song they danced to.
"You gotta strut like you mean it, free your mind. . ."}

"Can I hold him?"

One question I love getting asked every single day.

This was one of the last times little Levi wore his newborn jammies :(
5 weeks old.  He's growing so fast!

These two sweet big brothers love their baby brother so much!

1 month

Levi started smiling a week or so before his 1 month birthday but this was his first smile I could catch on camera.  He's a happy, content smiley guy.

On his 1 month birthday he also sucked his thumb for the first time.

Peace out  :)
Oh my goodness, look at him. . . he is simply the cutest!
