Our Four Kids

The other night when we were putting the buckets of water in the back of the van to water the neighborhood trees, up popped 4 heads.....

SO CUTE!

Girls Weekend! Wahoo!

So last weekend was our long awaited fabulous Girls Weekend! Hooray! Several of the fun ladies in our girls night out group couldn't make it so it just ended up being Amy, Freda, Brooke and I. We went to Park City Friday afternoon and came home on Saturday evening. We stayed in a lovely hotel right by the outlets...Perfect! We had a great time!

On Friday night we went to the Baja Cantina for dinner, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! YUM-O! The food is so delicious there! Doesn't our food look tasty?!

And you can't go to the Baja Cantina without stopping next door at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!!! Another favorite place to go! I enjoyed my carmel and mint to the very last morsel! Amy and Freda got a Apple Pie Carmel Apple to share and we all had to taste it on film of course! Scrump-diddly-umptious!

After dinner we went to a movie. It ended up being pretty lame, we left before it was over. But the thought of us going to a movie and enjoying ourselves sure sounded fun! haha!

We went back to our hotel, played a few card games, went and relaxed/burned ourselves in the hot tub, came back to our room, lounged in our jammies and played more card games. Amy is so good at card games, I think she won every game! ha ha! {She wished! :)} Oh goodness, what a fun night, we were all so tired by the time we went to bed at 1:00 in the morning!

Our hotel included a breakfast buffet. I just ate my little bowl of honey nut cheerios because I over indulged myself at Baja Cantina and the Chocolate Factory the night before, or so I thought, but I think the breakfast buffet left much to be desired. How does gritty eggs and burnt toast sound Brooke? :)

After breakfast we spent the entire day shopping at the outlets except a short/long break for lunch at Ruby Tuesday's. Which again, I didn't get to enjoy, my stomach was still in shambles. That part about the weekend was a bummer but the rest was great! We had so much fun! Can't wait for next year!!!

I thought I was sick because I ate way too much on Friday night but as soon as Quinney started complaining Saturday night that his stomach hurt and then woke up at 12:30 am to throw-up, I knew then, that I did in fact, have a stomach bug. Luckily, I never threw-up, I just felt like Friday nights dinner was sitting in my stomach for 3 days straight! The bug made it's way through the whole family. Yikes!

A night with the Bee's.

We got to go to the Bee's game for Justin's work party. It was lots of fun. They provided a picnic dinner for everyone before the game too. My kind of outing! :)

On our way to our seats the kids saw the little yellow train and just had to ride it.
Waiting patiently in line...

We finally made it up to our seats and enjoyed the game.

This little fella loved walking back and forth from Justin to me between the empty seats. Cute little guy!

Wahoo! What a great hit! Go Bee's!

I think the highlight of Avery and Quinn's night had to have been Mr. Bee himself! The kids were watching for him the entire game and would get so excited every time they'd see him, which was always far away. So when we left and saw him outside the kids nearly lost it, they were so excited! Of course we had to get a picture with him.

What a fun night, we had a great time together!

111 mile ULCER

On Saturday Justin rode in the 111 mile bike ride called the Ulcer. I think it's called that for a reason, it's giving me an ulcer just thinking about riding 111 miles! ha ha!

It started at Thanksgiving Point, went down around Utah Lake, and ended back at Thanksgiving Point. He did it with Troy and what an awesome job they did!!!

The two manly men arriving at the pit stop.

That's my manly man! Oh yes, I'm lucky!!!

The kids were so excited every time they got to see Daddy arrive at another pit stop. They were so proud of him!

Heading off for another leg of the ride. Go Daddy!

Daddy's biggest fans waiting at the finish line.

Wahoo, he did it! He finished the 111 mile ride!

He deserves every bit of that medal!!! I am so proud of him!

What an awesome accomplishment! Way to go, you manly men!

We were so happy for Justin that he finished his goal and couldn't be more proud of him! He is our hero! We love you honey!

{Don't mind my facial hair in that last picture! The wind was fierce!}

Avery's 1st Swimming Lessons

Avery loved every minute of her two week swimming lessons!
She learned a lot too!

Doin' the back float.

Avery with her two best supporting fans!

Wahoo! Level 1 swimming completed. Way to go Avery!

Trampoline Lovers

We LOVE summer evenings on the tramp!

Painted Faces

My Beautiful Butterfly

My Studly Football Star

Quinney is so funny about stuff like this. He kept getting embarrassed thinking about me painting something on his face. I almost had him talked into a tiger face but then he decided that he only wanted me to paint the nose part on his nose. He quickly changed his mind again though, smiled at me with his sweet shy smile and settled for a football. :) Funny kid! Avery of course can't get enough of this kind of thing and enjoyed every second it took me to paint her into a beautiful butterfly!

Aquatic Center

Avery's first week of swimming lessons went great, she loves it and is having so much fun! Justin wanted her to show him what she'd learned so far so we went to the Aquatic Center for a fun day of swimming.

~ we swam, went down the slides, and Avery showed us her new tricks
~ we ate nachos
~ Hayzen took a cat nap on Justin
~ Justin and I began to think that we were the ONLY adults there withOUT a tattoo ...or two, or three, or perhaps four tattoos...

Always a good time at the local Aquatic Center!!!
