- Sepia photo is modge podged onto a routed edged, painted board and photo is sanded for a distressed look. (of course you'll being doing this yourselves at the party) :)

~ Kids Temple Block ~

- Sepia photo and scrapbook paper are modge podged onto the painted block and black vinyl words are on top of photo.
- For this project, you'll need to bring with you to the party, 2 coordinating sheets of your own scrapbook paper that will match your kids rooms. (or match whatever room you're planning on putting it in)
- Size: 5.5 X 5.5 inches
- Cost: $5.00

- Scrapbook paper is modge podged onto the painted block, black and white vinyl is placed on top of paper and furniture tacks are tacked in the corners.

- Scrapbook paper is modge podged onto the painted block, the black vinyl is placed on top of paper.
- The ribbon will NOT be included in this project, you can bring your own to the party or just tie it around your block when you get home.

A few details to keep in mind:

- Please bring your money for the crafts (cash only please) with you to the party.
- Julie (my fabulous sister) will bring these colors of paint to choose from for the crafts: black, white, tan, brown, sage green, hot pink, light pink, dark blue, light blue, yellow, dark red, bright red, orange and purple.
- If you are doing the Kids Temple Block, remember to bring 2 coordinating sheets of scrapbook paper to match your rooms.
- If you are doing the Wise Men Block, remember, the ribbon is NOT included.

Spread the word to your family and friends and then come on over and have some fun! Oh yes, and a yummy treat will be served!!! :)

FaMiLY oF cLoWnEs

We had a FUN Halloween this year! Really though, who wouldn't have fun being dressed like a clown? :) Unless you were dressed as a creepy clown.....

Anywho, at the Trunk-or-Treat our little Clown family won the

"Funny Bone" award, how fitting! :)

Oh my goodness, have you seen anything cuter??? I could die!!!

And look at these two cuties just "clownin" around in the trunk!

I think I have THE CUTEST little clowns a Mommy ever did see! :)

After the trunk-or-treat we headed home for a delicious pizza dinner followed by a little trick-or-treating to a few more houses (the older folk) in our neighborhood. Then it was bath time and off to bed for the kids.

Justin and I rented a scary movie to watch and man oh man, we were scared! "Ruby hold me!" HA HA HA! ...that's what Justin said during one of the scary parts! SO funny! Oh yes, we had a great Halloween!

Nightmare on Higley Street!!

We had the best time with our friends on Friday night!!! We played games, ate delicious Halloween treats and snacks and laughed our faces off!

The "Donut from a String" eating contest was hilarious, I mean HILARIOUS!!!

We had a blast!!! Can't wait to do it again next year!!! :)

House on Haunted Hill is having a PARTY!!

Earlier this week we had a fabulous family Halloween party at my parents house! Notice the "fancy lady" in the back with the pink hat? ...it's my Dad! :) And right next to him is Nacho Libre, "my life is good, really good"! haha! Good times!


My Mom had lots of fun games for the grandkids and the adults, which included, Halloween Pictionary, Candy Corn Relay, Pass the Pumpkin, Cupcake Walk and The Story of Hal O. Ween with yucky ghoulish things to feel during the story like, liver, brains, eyeballs, nose, bleeding heart, hair, ear etc. FUN FUN FUN!

Here are the six youngest grandkids. Lily was doing her very best "Beauty Sleeping" smile. She made it clear that she was NOT going to do her Snow White smile but she WOULD do her "Beauty Sleeping" smile! :)


Here is just one of the three cutest clowns I've ever seen! I'm so happy with how his costume turned out, with a little help from my Mom and my sister Carrie, it turned out perfect! :)


After all the games, we were treated with yummy Halloween snacks and goodies that everyone made and brought to share. It was a super fun night!!! Thanks Mom and Dad for an excellent Halloween party, we had lots of fun! :)

Scout Camp ~ Mommy style

Justin took his 11 year old scout group on an "over-nighter" and Avery and Quinn were devastated when they found out, just before he left, that they would not be going with him. "But we helped him gather up all the tents and everything," a very upset Avery said. Many tears were shed. :)

I had to do something. I had to do something to cheer up my poor sobbing children. So.....

We had our own scout camp, Mommy style!

We started the evening off with a delicious dinner around the light of the campfire, I mean TV, while watching Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump Halloween movie.

Then we made yummy cookies. The easy kind.....you know, open the package, place the pre-made cookies on the cookie sheet, bake and vola! Perfect kind for Mommy's scout camp! :)

Enjoying the fruits of their very hard labor.....

.....right down to the very last crumb! Shove it in Quinney, shove it in! ha ha!

We ended the night by reading some books in our homemade blanket tent before bed. You know the kind, a blanket propped up by the arms of the couches and a kitchen chair? I briefly thought about letting Avery and Quinn sleep in our make shift tent. Briefly. Mommy needs her sleep! :)

So when I posted the picture of Hayzen all bundled up in my last post I strangely felt like I had seen that picture before. Oh wait, I have!!! (minus the boy/girl, pink blanket/blue blanket fact!) What do you think?

Hayzen

Avery

Hayzen reminds me so much of Avery as a baby in looks, facial expressions, and personality. Something about Hayzen's eyes, lips and the way he moves his little mouth totally makes me think of my baby Avery. :)

And just for fun, I have a picture of my little baby Quinney all bundled up too.

Okay. So Hayzen obviously got his double chin from his brother! :)
