Pretty Princesses & Bee Sting

Avery has the BEST brothers!  

oh my, what pretty princesses.

They love her a lot :)  She is so lucky to have them!

Poor Quinnaford got stung by a bee while swimming in Grandma's pool.  Those darn bees!

A little mud and a hug from Mommy made it feel all better!

Grandma called the exterminator the next day to come out and get rid of them.  Way to go Grandma!

Farmer's Market

Grandma & Grandpa sell their rugs at the Salt Lake Farmer's Market every Saturday.  They have every kind of booth there that you'd ever want.  Tons of fun and creative stuff!

On the 24th of July

We had a great 24th of July.  Avery and Quinn started the morning off with kitty cuddles.  Our afternoon was filled with Avengers, and our evening consisted of a neighborhood BBQ and firework show.

Happy Pioneer Day, Utah!

Pioneer Day Celebration

I love going back to my home town of Mendon, especially for the celebrations.  "I've been sayin' it for years," Mendon is a slice of heaven of earth!

A few of the grand kids walked and pulled Grandpa's handcart in the parade.  They even got to throw candy out the back. 

The blow-up toys and games are always a hit.

We enjoyed hamburgers from the stand, watching the ball tournament and fireworks too.

It was the perfect Pioneer Day Celebration!

Farmington Station

We headed down to the new Farmington Station for a day of shopping and family fun.  Afterwards, we went up to Grandma & Grandpa's house for a BBQ!

Nothing better than spending time with this sweet little family of mine.  I love them SO MUCH!

We got right out of bed and went to 7-11 on 7/11 to get our free slurpee... $4.38 later...  

...apparently the "free slurpees" don't start until 11:00.  

What?  That would have been nice to know, maybe they should write that on their sign.

I wasn't the only one who got fooled either.  At least 5 other customers came in excited for their slurpee just to be told they'd have to pay.  Who knew?

I feel like Ross on Friends, "they should write that on the box!!"

We enjoyed our $4.38 slurpees on the side of 7-11 in the faded, cigarette butt infested bark :)
